Yosemite and Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite, CA (TEA Day 25)

Yesterday morning we went to Mass at the Our Lady of the Snows service in Yosemite. Our Lady of the Snows is not a parish, but the Catholic presence in the park.

After Mass, we went on a short hike to Lower Yosemite Falls. Eddie says that it was humungous!

There’s Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls. Upper Falls was even bigger than Lower Falls! Together, they fall 2,445 feet.

This is a glacial erratic. A glacial erratic is a boulder that was picked up by a glacier and scraped along until it was deposited in another place when the glacier melted.

There’s Half Dome! Charlie really likes Half Dome. He likes it because it looks really cool and it’s really big.

We also took a very short hike to Bridalveil Falls, which was blowing all over the place. Charlie says that it was wonderful and a little weird but still cool.

There’s our hotel at night.
