This is Charlie with the chickens in the backyard of the people we are staying with. Charlie says that he likes the chickens because he fed them.
Mary, Cletus, and Lucy were at the Totus Tuus VBS, so Mrs. Ceil, Agnes, Paul, and our family went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Marty says that it was super cool because it was built on the side of a mountain and he really liked the reptile house. Charlie liked it because he liked the baby giraffe and the reptile house. Eddie had a fun time because he liked looking at the reptiles. Notice a theme?
The strange boy in our midst is Paul.
Everyone thought the meerkats were the cutest things.
One of the elephants was painting a picture when we were there.
The wallabies enclosure was pretty open, so there was a random chipmunk in it. Why not?
It’s Spit Fyre! Just kidding. It’s just a bearded dragon. In the top left corner is Agnes’ hair.
Paul got caught red-handed sneaking a ride in Agnes’ stroller.
Agnes absolutely adores the hippos. Marty thought they just looked like lazy piles of brownish purplish fat. He still thought they were cool. They were just very very lazy.
We had a marvelous time at the zoo.
