Guess who lives here?

We departed the Grand Canyon and headed off to a little town in the middle of nowhere (in Nevada) called Tonopah by way of Las Vegas.

We drove down the Strip and saw all the famous landmarks and casinos.

We also got our brakes repaired at Auto Tech! Now we have souvenir tires from St. Louis and Lubbock, and souvenir brakes from Las Vegas! We are praying that we will never see a car repair shop again.

After a 3 1/2 hour drive from Vegas (which was 5 hours from the Grand Canyon) we arrived at Jim Butler’s Inn & Suites in Tonopah. Jim Butler was the man who discovered the massive silver deposits in Tonopah.
