Lubbock, TX (TEA Day 14)

This is Eddie with Pete. As you can see, Pete is a chihuahua. He is a sweet little dog.

This morning we headed off to the Silent Wings Museum with Uncle Rob, Aunt Katie, and Liam. It’s a museum about how gliders were used in WWII. We didn’t even know there was a glider program in WWII until we visited this museum. It was fascinating.

There we are with the CG-4A glider, used by the Americans during World War II.

The reason that the museum is in Lubbock because the main glider pilot training facility in the U.S. was in Lubbock.

After lunch, we went swimming. Charlie was super excited about it. Uncle Rob, Aunt Katie, and Liam joined us.

Marty liked the bison jerky we got in St. Louis. Eddie couldn’t have any because of his braces. He says that Marty forgot to give him some.

Eddie is pretty speedy, you know.

We are now getting ready for some grilled dinner at Uncle Rob and Aunt Katie’s.
