This morning we departed Lubbock for Roswell, NM.
Goodbye house! And people!
We did a car before we started driving.
We drove for about two and a half hours to Roswell, the alien capital of the world. We went to the UFO Museum there. It was pretty funny!

Charlie thought the alien museum was pretty funny and it was really a little creepy. Eddie says that it was funny but interesting and he liked it. Marty thinks that it was very interesting to read about but it is highly unlikely that aliens have actually visited Earth.
During our drive to Santa Fe, it started raining. Charlie says he saw a sudden flash and looked out his window and saw lightning.
We are staying at the El Ray Inn in Santa Fe. It is a quaint little place. Very picturesque.
Dad arrives this evening! He’s flying into Albuquerque. But at 11 PM Mountain Time. So we will be seeing him tomorrow.
Have you ever read Dan Gutman's Genius Files series? They follow a very similar cross country route! I'm reading them right now and it's so cool to be able to follow here and in the books!!
