Louisville/St. Louis, Missouri (TEA Day 4)

At 9:30 we went to Mass at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville with Tricia. It was very beautiful.

We left directly from the cathedral parking lot to head to St. Louis.

Indiana!

Charlie

We went to Santa Claus, Indiana. It was a town called Santa Claus.

 

We went to a museum about Santa Claus there.

 

This was the original Santa Claus post office.

 

We wrote letters to Santa.

 

 

 

 

 

The second post office was where we went to a gas station. There’s some other things, like Splashin’ Safari, a waterpark, and Holiday Land, the place where you meet Santa Claus.

The Santa Claus village was only about a 12 mile detour, so we were easily able to hop back on the highway and continue to St. Louis.

Missouri!

 

And here’s the Missouri River.

 

We soon reached St. Louis, and we’re now staying with Mrs. Jan and Mr. Brad in St. Petersburg, a little ways out of town.
