Yesterday we were at a point on the South Rim 9.6 miles away from where we are now. However, we had to drive 6 hours to get to the point on the North Rim.
Beautiful drive there!
This is the Observatory Tower at Desert View Point.
North Rim!
Here’s Charlie with a statue of Brighty the Mule. Charlie says he was very fun.
We took a short hike out to a ridge. It was wild! The Canyon totally surrounds you at the end of the trail.
Shadows!
There’s the Colorado River!
We went to Point Imperial, which is the highest point in the park at 8803 feet above sea level.
